Samaritans

Wow! I have been accepted into the Samaritans! My 12 week training starts in a week and a half and I can’t wait! It is something I have wanted to do for such a long time, but I just couldn’t put the time into it when I was married.  I was already doing too much back then and plus they ask for one overnight a month and my ex husband wasn’t keen on me doing that and I didn’t feel it was fair either with us having a young family. So how things have changed! Now that I’m young (erm well slightly!), free and did I mention single? (available for dates and Bat Mitzvahs!)  it seems the world is my lobster. 🙂

I haven’t managed any writing today, I have an exam for my previous OU Course (E212 Childhood) next Wednesday and I really have to knuckle down and study for it now. I have found the course really interesting, but exams are my worse nightmare. For those of you who have seen Finding Nemo, think Dory and that is me. 🙂 I have a memory like a sieve (my mother tells me it is because there is too much going on in there!) as an example, it isn’t unusual for me to drive all the way home, only to remember that I have forgotten to pick the children up from childcare. 🙂

Anyway enough ramblings for one day.
